My name is Olivia Swart and I teach piano from my home in Clayton, NC. I received my bachelor's degree from NC State in Business Administration and I began teaching in 2022. I am a classically trained pianist with over 16 years of experience and I have played saxophone for 10 years as well. I have a strong background in both jazz and classical music. 

My lessons are designed to create well rounded musicians by balancing theory and performance skills. This includes learning to read music, chord theory, exploring different genres of music, and performing in front of an audience at recitals. Attending recitals is not mandatory, but public performance is a great skill to have in music!
